after a fully scrapped 700 draft, I spent 7 hours writing and finishing up Penny's bait. 

notes made while brainstorming include: TANABATA / MAGICAL REALISM / SPLIT UNIVERSES / GODS AU / Together they make the longest night.

I'll probably post the 700w draft at a later time as a separate thing, depending on what I decide to do with it. it was a bit too incoherent and incongruent with the prompt, but the premise, I think, is something interesting.
