today was a day filled with silent howling because two of my mutuals filled the prompt I threw out yesterday - and did it amazingly.
I also managed to finish my Kawafuta! I made myself very sad while writing it, but as with all post-apo stories, I had a lot of fun with the world-building. every apocalypse and dystopia is different, so I can always create new universes and different scenarios. this time I went for the option of a mellower Futakuchi; I wanted to try for a contrast between his past and his present through the eyes of Kawanishi. I hope I made it orz
edit [11.24pm]: started on Bee's Kuroyaku prompt/bait and MAN is it good fun already. I love their antagonising relationship in every universe, and this one moreso than most because Yaku's sass is already showing. It's only at the first paragraph.
edit [12.47am]: um. so I finished the Kuroyaku. the muse just took hold and ran, so I had no troubles at all. in fact, it ended up being much longer than I wanted it to be, but I'd already expected it to be this long. orz. it's 1116 words. considering that I literally started it an hour and a half ago (and got distracted halfway by doing up my masterlists), that's got to be some kind of achievement.
